School...

School starts today!! I was thinking I didn't feel to bad about it, but as I started writing knots began in my stomach. ;o) It'll be okay though. It helps that I'm only taking 9 credits, it'll put me a little behind schedule, but I really felt like I needed a little bit of a break!

Dance is going GREAT! Both of my knees and ankles are giving me a little bit of trouble, but I think they just need to work back to where they were. I feel positive they just need a little bit of exercise. I LOVE teaching! I am seriously thinking of majoring or minoring in Dance education now, but knowing my flighty mind who knows how long that will last ;o)

Summer's Nearly Over...

My how time flies!!! This summer has been more busy than I thought it would be for sure!

We helped my Grandparent's move from St. George, which was very sad for me! They have lived there for a very long time and I feel like most of my childhood memories are moving with them. But I know that is what is best for them right now. But life is full of change, I guess I just have to except that. Meanwhile life at the farm has been stressful, but it has also brought some excitement. We have had more baby goats, and I have to say that is probably my favorite part of having goats, seeing brand new life throughout the year! We have also had one of our hens hatch some chicks. Seeing it done the natural way has been a special experience. The Savior talking about gathering us under wings as a hen in the scriptures has even more meaning now. I love to watch how tender the mother hen is to her chicks. They are not even all her own, but she sacrificed for them and she truly is their mother. So it is with the Savior, he loves and excepts us even when we do not except him.

Today was the first day of Education Week at BYU! I absolutely loved it! The spirit is so strong in the classes, and I am so thankful for the spiritual boost before I start school again!

I am SO excited to teach dance again this year! I think teaching is definitely something that I enjoy, most of the time. ;o)

I hope everyone is enjoying this last little bit of Summer! I didn't really do anything I had planned on, but at the same time I have done a lot. I feel like a different person, hopefully a little more prepared for what the Lord has in store for me. Remember to enjoy the journey. That is something I very much struggle with, but I know it is a true principle, and that is does bring happiness! I hope everyone is smiling today! Remember the Lord loves you!

SUMMER!!!

Today it finally felt like summer!!! Yesterday certainly did not! Pageant has started, and I went from yesterday kinda thinking I wouldn't do it to today being in charge of Nephite Platform again.

Funny how things work out. Well, things are good. I am tired but happy. Hope everyone is doing great! Remember to smile!!!

Rain

Well, I actually made it to the library again. It has been so rainy!!! Sometimes I like it, but when I think of all the animals that need to be taken care of in the wet weather I don't so much.
Things have been good, but I haven't had time to do all the extra things I wanted to, but that's life.
I can't believe pageant time is already next week! I'm not trying out for high priestess, but that's okay. I am just hoping that I will be able to do something in it. I think I keep re-injuring my knee by forgetting about it then running on it and then realizing that it really hurts. ;o) Smart huh?! Oh well!
We have had more kids born so now we're at 26! One mom had triplets, another 1st time mom! And then another had twins! I really wish I could put pictures on here. They are SO cute!!! I think we have 4 or 5 more moms to go. It'll be fun. I really do love my goats ;o)
I am having my last piano lesson tomorrow. Kind of a relief and yet I'm rather sad about it. It's been a good learning experience for me!
Well, I hope everyone is doing great. Things are going well for me, I just need to get back into a schedule of things. I hope everyone always remembers to smile!

SUMMER!

Hello again! Well, dance is done, for awhile anyways. I know I need the break but I am already going through withdrawals. The shows went GREAT!!! I couldn't have asked for a better last performance for Musical Theater. I'll definitely miss Musical Theater, but I am glad it worked out that I will still be teaching next year in the vague plan Heavenly Father has for me.
I just called as a Primary teacher in my home ward. The CTR 6 class. I am excited.
We have been very busy outside with 21 baby goats!!! I'm very curious to see how many more we'll have in the next couple of weeks. Probably at least 10 more.
Not sure how pageant will work out this year because of my knee. Since it's been six weeks (to the day) I should probably go get it checked out. High Priestess might now work this year, which means never because I am going to get a summer job next year. I'm thinking Malt Shop. Any suggestions anyone?
All my plans for the summer haven't started happening yet. I hope I'll get half a book read! But I did tell myself the other day that I HAVE to start writing a book before all my ideas leave my head! Which will probably be soon, thanks to my sad memory.
My life feels like it's all been tossed up in the air right now. But that's okay. At least I pulled out of this last semester with all A's (an A- is still an A right?)! I'm just happy for that!
I am such a blessed person! Remembering to see all the little blessings in life is so important!!!

Thank heavens it's May, and I do mean that literally!

Finals are over!!!! YAY, YAY and YAY!!!!!!!!!! Can you tell how much I need the break? ;o) Or how excited I am? Not at all right?! ;o) hehe

I am so excited for summer! I have so many fun things to do and catch up on. I would love to read at least 3 or 4 books before school starts again! I've really missed having the time to just sit and read! And working on my french in preparation for next semester probably wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Thank you to anyone who may have said prayers for me. Especially my parents! What would I do without prayer? Go crazy and fail all my classes that's what! Lucky for me prayer does work! I know that! Having wonderful family and friends is always a plus too!

I'm not sure how often I'll get to the library during the break so if this happens to be the last time I write in a very long time, I hope everyone has a fantastic summer!

YAY SPRING!!!

Thank heavens for Spring! I am pretty sure I would lose my sanity if Spring wasn't almost here. True it's here technically but I need it to STAY warm, not just give me false hopes every now and then. ;o)

Not too much going on besides dance and school. My family (me included) is very excited for kidding season (which starts May 1st) and we love to watch for the signs of the soon to be mother goats ;o) It's such a neat exprience to be a part of!!!

I have been into BYU basketball VERY much lately! It's so cool that they are going to the Sweet 16! SO much fun!!!

Only 5 more weeks of school! How does time pass so fast! It's quite the task keeping up!
