Don't have any homework that I can do at the moment so I finally have a little bit of time to write! Things are good mostly. Just trying to get in the swing of things. A little less than one month until my 20th birthday. I'm super excited! For the past several months the little girls would ask how old I was (yes more than once) and I'd say "Twent.. I mean nineteen." Not sure why I would always do that, but pretty soon I won't have to worry about that anymore. ;o)
I decided that something I REALLY want this year is my own digital camera. Not sure why it is so hard to bring my family's camera to download pictures on the Internet at school but it is.
I also want a camera because I am planning to go on a mission in a little more than a year from now. I heard about a service mission for the church where you audition and are then called (only 20 out of about 200 make it) to go and do musical theater productions at Nauvoo! So that's the plan but if I don't do that I'll probably just do a regular mission, so either way! Pictures from that experience are mandatory! ;o)
I am SO SO sick of school, but I still have to go so oh well! ;o)
Better head now. I have institute in 15 minutes. I LOVE that class! hehe
Always remember to smile!

New Year
Well, the New Year has begun and I am quite overwhelmed!!! There have been many good things though. For starters, because of a couple changes in circumstances I am going to try to do the Musical Theater Sr. Company at Manti Music and Dance again. I am SUPER excited but I little worried about fitting it in with school, but oh well.
Classes are interesting, and books cost SO much!!!!!!!!!! That drives me nuts, but oh well with that too! ;o)
Things are good though. I am very grateful for Martin Luther King Jr. Day which will give me a little extra time to catch up on things I need to do at home.
Hope everyone is doing well! Keep smiling!

Almost Christmas!
Honestly, how does time pass by so quickly?! Is it just me or does anyone else feel like the days are flying by faster then ever!
Well, finals are almost here and miraculously I have retained a teaspoon of my sanity, I think, or maybe it's just a pinch ;D
I will be very happy for the break! But it is very bitter sweet. I am going to miss some of my best friends that are in my classes! I find that no matter how much you want to, if they're not in your classes it is SO hard to ever find time to actually do something with them! Besides the quick hello that you say when you pass each other while walking to class!
I have so much to do before Christmas! I really want to try to keep up on dance and some school and reading during the break! But with all the projects I have who knows what I'll actually get done! ;D
And no, I probably won't get pictures on here until after Christmas. Sadly my computer time is pretty much non-existent when I am not doing school, but there are good things about that too!
I've pretty much gotten used to the braces now, and I haven't needed to take any kind of pain killer! Even tightening them wasn't too bad. The hardest part is trying to find food that is; legal, easy to eat, and possible to eat! It's the weirdest feeling when I'm trying to chew food and it feels like I don't have any teeth at all and I'm chewing aimlessly with my gums! ;D hehe
I hope that everyone is enjoying the Christmas Season. I have to admit that I am going to miss the slightly warmer weather of Christmas in St. George, but I guess there's times and seasons for everything! And because of 'wonderful' finals I don't get to go to warm Arizona with my Dad and sisters, but the other three of us will just have to party! There is happiness to find in everything! ;D
Merry Christmas everyone!

;o) I should have pictures!
Well the braces are on and I am in pain again. It hasn't really been that bad. I just REALLY want to grind my teeth because of all the pressure and my bottom lip really isn't appreciating the metal that keeps rubbing against it. But I'm doing okay. Maybe one of these days I put a picture on here.
This November our family has started a new tradition. Usually we put up the Christmas tree the Sunday or Monday after Emma's birthday (Oct. 31st), but this year we decided to put up our "Thanksgiving Tree"! It has red, orange, and yellow lights, decorated with pine cones, sparkling mini pumpkins and fake leaves where we have written what we're thankful for on them, covering the tree. I LOVE it! Especially since I'm not ready for Christmas quite yet. Maybe I'll get a picture of the tree on here too eventually! ;o) Well, a class is about to come into the writing lab so I better run! Happy November everyone!

Update ;-)
Well, I just have a few minutes so hopefully this will be quick.
- I got a 'dry socket' in one of my wisdom teeth areas, but it is finally getting better after 6 days.
- Got an A on my British Lit. Paper and 100% on my British Lit. Test.
- Still trying to sell our goats, I don't like selling them at all!
- Get braces on Nov. 11th, not looking forward to the pain.
- Brittani Terry is going to have her baby any time now which means I get to substitute. I'm exciting for the learning experience it will be, but still kinda nervous.
- Can't wait for Thanksgiving and Christmas Break.
- Not excited for how much busier next semester will be.
- Finally got caught up on my french homework yesterday.
- Have lots of work to do on the farm!
- Don't like the cold weather.
- Need to register for the National ACT that I've never taken.
- Need to study for the ACT.
- Need to figure out what fun things I can make for our fun family "Harvest Day" (Halloween) tradition.
- Need to start writing more to my sister Emma's story for her birthday. Can't believe she's turning 10! Since I'm about 10 years older than her that makes me feel old ;-)
- Things are going good!
That was a bit more than I planned on writing but I guess that's it in a nutshell. Things are going a lot better than they were a few days ago! I know that prayer works and that the Priesthood truly is powerful! I am so thankful that my dad is a worthy Priesthood holder so that he could give me a wonderful and much needed blessing for my wisdom teeth adventure! It has given me so much comfort!
Have a wonderful (hopefully sunny) day! ;-)

Only a Minute
I just have a minute to write so this will be very quick! I got my wisdom teeth out over the break. It was definitely inspiration on my parent's part to schedule it then! It would have been misery to have to go to school while I was in pain! I still am, but it's bearable I guess! My dad gave me a blessing before I went and I know that has helped me a lot! I haven't really gotten swollen! Thank goodness for tender mercies!

Fall Break!!! (and my thoughts)
Hmm.... Thank goodness for Fall Break! Though I can't say I'm excited to get my wisdom teeth out, but it'll be a whole lot better getting them out and having a break, than having to go to school while I'm in a great deal of pain! I'm just glad it'll be done with... as long as I don't have the nerve damage they said I might have. That's where faith comes in right!
This is such an interesting time of life! I have 3 amazing friends that are all going to have sweet little girls in the coming months, my cousin just got engaged, and I figured out yesterday that I have about a 1 1/2 years before I leave on my mission! CRAZY! Good times, but undoubtedly strange for me! Time and responsibility weigh heavily! "So much to do and so little time" right?! Funny how you think you get somethings figured out, but then next thing you know it changes! That's why it is so important to live by the Spirit. The trouble for me is that it takes a lifetime to learn how to do that as well as you should. ;o)
This is a quote from one of my favorite General Conference addresses given by Elder Scott October 2010:
“Faith is things which are hoped for and not seen; wherefore, dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith” (Ether 12:6). Thus, every time you try your faith—that is, act in worthiness on an impression—you will receive the confirming evidence of the Spirit. As you walk to the boundary of your understanding into the twilight of uncertainty, exercising faith, you will be led to find solutions you would not obtain otherwise. With even your strongest faith, God will not always reward you immediately according to your desires. Rather, God will respond with what in His eternal plan is best for you, when it will yield the greatest advantage. Be thankful that sometimes God lets you struggle for a long time before that answer comes. That causes your faith to increase and your character to grow."
(The Transforming Power of Faith and Character Elder Richard G. Scott Oct. 2010)
I know that the Lord is in charge and that he really does know and want what's best for me, I just have to knock myself on the head a few times to remember that ;o)
I hope everyone has a fantastic week! Keep smiling!
