Well I leave to the MTC tomorrow! Crazy how time flies! I am very happy to serve the Lord and the people of South Carolina! The church is true! See you in 18 months!

Newest Adventure

Well I got my mission call! I leave to South Carolina on May 29th! It was a lot sooner than I expected but I am so excited to serve the Lord! I know that South Carolina is where I need to be! As hard as it will be to leave my family I know that they will be completely in the Lord's care and he can take care of them much better than I ever could. Along with that I know that the Lord can make more out of me than I can! So as much out of my comfort zone this experience will be I am so excited!

Spring Break

For Spring Break everyone except my dad are visiting sunny Arizona and the family that I haven't seen for a whole year! It's been nice to get away from the stress of work and home and be in the warmer weather! I also drove most of the way which was a new experience for me, especially the Phoenix traffic! I'm a country girl through and through and I couldn't help but think of my no stop light Manti without longing!
My mission papers are in and I am nervously awaiting my call! Who know where I will be headed in the next few months! But for now I'm just going to enjoy being with my family!

About time. . .

I think that it is about time that I post on here again. Things have been good - stressful but good! Who would have thought that life could still be stressful without school involved! haha
I've been trying to get my mission stuff underway and I am learning that I have NO patience! I wanted to have them submitted by the beginning of March, but with doctors appointments the lds.org site not letting me on it and as well as a few other things I probably won't have them in until a week or two after that! I can't tell you how frustrating it is for me - but I just have to keep reminding myself that EVERYTHING really is in the Lord's hands, especially the mission he wants me to go on.
I can't wait to get my call though and to see where the Lord wants me! Thank goodness it's his decision and not mine!

Officially done-for now

Well, I just took my last final at Snow college. I don't think I'll be back for awhile ;)
It was a good school and I am so thankful that I came. It has been a great three years!
Now I just have to figure out what is ahead of me. I know that Lord has been with me every step of the way and that he will still be with me. I am so thankful for that - there is no way I could have done anything without him. I am also thankful for my family who stayed up late to help me study and give me encouragement! Now for the next adventure - who knows what it will lead to?!

Adventures

Well I heard back about Nauvoo and I'm not going this year. That's okay. I had the feeling that I wouldn't anyway, but it was still a fun experience making the audition dvd. Now I need to figure out what I'm going to do next in my life. I've always had the idea to go on a 18 month mission. Now I need to be sure that is what the Lord wants me to do. Who knows what I'll be doing in the next few years?! It will be a big adventure. Really, this whole life experience is one HUGE adventure. We just have to take everything one step at a time! I know everything is in the Lord's hands.

THANKSGIVING TREE!

FINALLY I am putting up pictures! How many times have I said I would? Well, here it is-the Ruell's 2012 Thanksgiving Tree! I love it! It is another thing I always look forward to! I have so much to be grateful for so I'll just name a few. My wonderful family and friends, the gospel, and my Heavenly Father as well as the Savior. I would be lost without all of these things! Happy Thanksgiving!
