About time. . .

I think that it is about time that I post on here again. Things have been good - stressful but good! Who would have thought that life could still be stressful without school involved! haha
I've been trying to get my mission stuff underway and I am learning that I have NO patience! I wanted to have them submitted by the beginning of March, but with doctors appointments the lds.org site not letting me on it and as well as a few other things I probably won't have them in until a week or two after that! I can't tell you how frustrating it is for me - but I just have to keep reminding myself that EVERYTHING really is in the Lord's hands, especially the mission he wants me to go on.
I can't wait to get my call though and to see where the Lord wants me! Thank goodness it's his decision and not mine!

Officially done-for now

Well, I just took my last final at Snow college. I don't think I'll be back for awhile ;)
It was a good school and I am so thankful that I came. It has been a great three years!
Now I just have to figure out what is ahead of me. I know that Lord has been with me every step of the way and that he will still be with me. I am so thankful for that - there is no way I could have done anything without him. I am also thankful for my family who stayed up late to help me study and give me encouragement! Now for the next adventure - who knows what it will lead to?!

Adventures

Well I heard back about Nauvoo and I'm not going this year. That's okay. I had the feeling that I wouldn't anyway, but it was still a fun experience making the audition dvd. Now I need to figure out what I'm going to do next in my life. I've always had the idea to go on a 18 month mission. Now I need to be sure that is what the Lord wants me to do. Who knows what I'll be doing in the next few years?! It will be a big adventure. Really, this whole life experience is one HUGE adventure. We just have to take everything one step at a time! I know everything is in the Lord's hands.

THANKSGIVING TREE!

FINALLY I am putting up pictures! How many times have I said I would? Well, here it is-the Ruell's 2012 Thanksgiving Tree! I love it! It is another thing I always look forward to! I have so much to be grateful for so I'll just name a few. My wonderful family and friends, the gospel, and my Heavenly Father as well as the Savior. I would be lost without all of these things! Happy Thanksgiving!

Time is still flying!

How does time fly so quickly! It seems like I say that a lot, but I really can't believe it! My family just put up our Thanksgiving tree (I'll try to get a picture on here), and I only have 22 school days left before I graduate! It is so crazy to me!
Life is definitely and adventure right now! Presidential elections are today! Can't wait to vote for the first time! Whatever the outcome is, it will be a turning point in two very different directions. I hope people will follow the spirit in their choice! I watched a movie called "2016" I found it very insightful!
My personal life has been very busy with school, family, work, home, homework, planning for work, dance and mission stuff! I'm kind of behind in everything but somehow I'm holding on by the skin of my teeth. ;) I have been going to the elementary school to teach dance! It is so fun and I love it!
Well, I hope everyone is doing well and is having a wonderful Thanksgiving season! I know that I personally have so much to be thankful for! Remember to keep smiling!

Fall Break

I can hardly believe that I only have about 6 weeks of school left! And then I'm done!!!!!! For now ;)
This semester so far has been crazy! I don't know when I've been busier! The time flies by so quickly! On Harvest day (October 31st- and I don't know why I do it on this day, I just always do) I always take a step back and realize that another whole year has past! So much as happened! I feel completely different!
Then I think about how in a year from now I have absolutely NO idea what I will be doing! Or where my family will be for that matter! So far we haven't had anyone come and look at the house - which I am very grateful for. Moving just doesn't feel right- yet! All though I do feel that something in my family's life needs to, or is going to change, besides my leaving. Life is crazy but good! I am finding that what is most difficult is to take note of and appreciate every single moment! But, doing that brings so much happiness! Don't forget to keep smiling!
