Fall Break!!! (and my thoughts)

Hmm.... Thank goodness for Fall Break! Though I can't say I'm excited to get my wisdom teeth out, but it'll be a whole lot better getting them out and having a break, than having to go to school while I'm in a great deal of pain! I'm just glad it'll be done with... as long as I don't have the nerve damage they said I might have. That's where faith comes in right!
This is such an interesting time of life! I have 3 amazing friends that are all going to have sweet little girls in the coming months, my cousin just got engaged, and I figured out yesterday that I have about a 1 1/2 years before I leave on my mission! CRAZY! Good times, but undoubtedly strange for me! Time and responsibility weigh heavily! "So much to do and so little time" right?! Funny how you think you get somethings figured out, but then next thing you know it changes! That's why it is so important to live by the Spirit. The trouble for me is that it takes a lifetime to learn how to do that as well as you should. ;o)
This is a quote from one of my favorite General Conference addresses given by Elder Scott October 2010:

“Faith is things which are hoped for and not seen; wherefore, dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith” (Ether 12:6). Thus, every time you try your faith—that is, act in worthiness on an impression—you will receive the confirming evidence of the Spirit. As you walk to the boundary of your understanding into the twilight of uncertainty, exercising faith, you will be led to find solutions you would not obtain otherwise. With even your strongest faith, God will not always reward you immediately according to your desires. Rather, God will respond with what in His eternal plan is best for you, when it will yield the greatest advantage. Be thankful that sometimes God lets you struggle for a long time before that answer comes. That causes your faith to increase and your character to grow."
(The Transforming Power of Faith and Character Elder Richard G. Scott Oct. 2010)

I know that the Lord is in charge and that he really does know and want what's best for me, I just have to knock myself on the head a few times to remember that ;o)
I hope everyone has a fantastic week! Keep smiling!
